2011 | LCE Srl – Lifegate
In 2011 LIFEGATE SpA commissioned LCE Srl to develop a new labelling system in order to assess and promote the environmental sustainability of Best Western Italy. It is an independent certification of sustainably operating tourism businesses and takes account of each business’ total resource use.
I’ve been involved in this project primarily with the aim to design the architecture of the labelling system and then the Stay for the Planet tool that is used to manage the sustainability activities and the data of each hotel.
The SFTP program’s goal is to improve the environmental performance of the hotels and to increase environmental awareness amongst employees.
